Future Geoconservation Agenda

GEOCONSERVATION FOR SCIENCE AND SOCIETY: AN AGENDA FOR THE 21ST CENTURY

This meeting examined the 21st Century challenges and opportunities for geoconservation and the partnerships required to ensure that our geological heritage continues to be valued and protected as part of the natural environment. It also celebrated 60 years of successful geoconservation since the first SSSIs were designated. Further conference details can be viewed here.

One of the outputs from the Worcester Conference was to try and develop a forward agenda for Geoconservation.  The paper below is a first attempt to do this.  If you have any comments or thoughts, we would be very pleased to receive these by the end of March.  This will also appear in The GA Magazine.
